Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (CCU) responsible for managing individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care using the nursing process, including medication administration, plan of care development, patient and family education, discharge planning, and adherence to policies. Responsibilities span documentation, patient assessment, communication with the clinical team, safeguarding patient safety, and ensuring compliant, evidence-based practice. Requires participation in professional development, utilization of department systems (e.g., Lotus Notes), and commitment to regulatory and privacy standards. Minimum education is a nursing degree with RN licensure; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC/TCAR and BLS certifications may be required depending on department. Location: Quincy, MA, US; schedule includes 36 hours per week, nights (7pm-7:30am) in CCU.
Required Qualifications
- RN license / RN - Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Emergency Response Training Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification
