Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Critical Care (CCU) night shift (36 hours/week) providing individualized nursing care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include medication administration and reconciliation, developing and updating patient care plans, ensuring safety and quality standards, facilitating discharge planning, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies. Requires observation of patient identification procedures, hand hygiene, privacy and security of patient information, and professional development. Minimum education noted as Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; licensure as RN with possible BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC/TCAR requirements; Lotus Notes and department software proficiency expected.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum Work Experience: Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred
- Required Licenses/Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Emergency Response Training; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC); Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) may be required
