Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (CCU) providing individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care during 7pm–7:30am shifts, 36 hours/week. Responsibilities include medication administration and reconciliation, developing and updating patient-specific plans of care, conducting admissions assessments, continuous reassessment, documentation per nursing policy, ensuring patient/family engagement, and facilitating discharge/transfer. Maintains a culture of safety, adheres to regulatory requirements, and utilizes technology (Lotus Notes) to support nursing practice. Requires professional development, compliance with privacy and security standards, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC/TCAR may be required by department
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
Desired Qualifications
- RN license required
- ACLS certification may be required depending on department
- BLS certification may be required depending on department
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) may be required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) may be required
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification may be required
