Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Critical Care (CCU) providing individualized nursing care and coordinating care according to policy. Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, planning and evaluating care, patient/family education, ensuring safety and quality, professional development, and use of technology; requires MA nursing licensure and completion of applicable certifications (BLS, ACLS, possible TNCC/PALS/NRP depending on department). Roles emphasize assessment, plan of care development, discharge planning, and adherence to hospital policies and privacy standards. Shift is 36 hours per week, nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) across three shifts.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Emergency Response Training Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (preferred)
- Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred
