Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Critical Care (CCU) on a 36-hour weekly night shift (7pm-7:30am, 3 shifts/week). Manages individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care using the nursing process, including medication administration, care planning, documentation, and patient/family-centered care. Responsibilities include developing and updating patient-specific plans of care, conducting admissions assessments, ongoing patient assessment, and ensuring timely discharge planning. Emphasizes a culture of safety, compliance with policies and procedures, and professional development. Utilizes technology (Lotus Notes) and adheres to regulatory standards, privacy and security requirements, and nursing practice guidelines. Requires licensure as an RN and may require multiple departmental certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC, TCAR) depending on the department. Minimum education is a graduate of an accredited nursing program; acute care RN experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum Education - Preferred: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Emergency Response Training Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
- Acute Care RN experience preferred
