Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Critical Care CCU, nights 36hrs/week (7pm–7:30am). Provides individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through the nursing process, including medication administration, documentation, plan of care development, and patient/family-centered care. Responsibilities cover medication reconciliation, admission assessment within 8 hours, documentation per department policies, discharge planning, safety/quality initiatives, professional development, and compliance with regulatory standards. Requires knowledge of department-specific policies, CCU care principles, and applicable certifications as outlined (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, TCAR). Minimum education: graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; state licensure as RN; acute care experience preferred. Proficiency with healthcare technology (Lotus Notes) and strong communication across care teams is expected.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum Work Experience: Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred
- RN licensure in MA (or eligibility)
- BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC/TCAR may be required depending on department
- Ability to work nights and 36 hours per week
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing process and patient safety
