Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Critical Care (CCU) caring for patients during 36-hour night shifts (7pm-7:30am) at South Shore Hospital. Manages medication administration, develops and updates plans of care, documents patient care, and ensures patient and family-centered care. Maintains a culture of safety and compliance with policies, participates in professional development, and utilizes department technology (e.g., Lotus Notes, clinical software). Requires MA RN licensure and applicable certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC/TCAR may be required).
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Emergency Response Training
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
