Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Critical Care (CCU) responsible for medication administration, planning and documentation of a patient-centered care plan, and coordination with the healthcare team. Responsibilities include accurate medication administration and reconciliation, development and communication of individualized care plans, patient and family education, maintaining a culture of safety and quality, utilization of technology (including Lotus Notes and department software), and adherence to hospital policies. The role emphasizes professional development, compliance with legal and ethical standards, and collaboration across disciplines to ensure high-quality nursing care for acute-care patients. Schedule: 36 hours per week, nights (7pm–7:30am) based in Quincy, MA.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Emergency Response Training Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
