Job Summary
Direct patient care in the CCU as an RN on the night shift (36 hours/week, 7pm-7:30am). Administers medications, documents and coordinates planning of care, assesses and reassesses patient needs, and facilitates discharge/transfer planning. Maintains a culture of safety, adheres to department/policy guidelines, and uses hospital systems (e.g., Lotus Notes) for communication and records. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-family centered care, patient safety, and quality outcomes. Demonstrates critical thinking in care delivery and engages in ongoing professional development. Utilizes required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC/TCAR as applicable) and complies with regulatory standards and privacy requirements.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Emergency Response Training Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
- Compliance with MA Nurse Practice Act
