Job Summary
Registered Nurse in a Critical Care (CCU) unit working 36 hours per week on night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am, three shifts). Responsibilities include medication administration, medication reconciliation, and documentation per SSH policies; developing and updating individualized plans of care; continuous assessment and reassessment of patient needs; ensuring patient safety and a culture of safety; facilitating discharge planning; professional development and adherence to regulatory, privacy, and compliance standards; and patient/family-centered care with attention to age and cultural considerations. Utilizes technology (e.g., Lotus Notes) and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality acute care, while maintaining legal and ethical practice aligned with the MA Nurse Practice Act.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
- BLS Certification (may be required)
- ACLS Certification (may be required)
- NRP Certification (may be required)
- PALS Certification (may be required)
- TNCC/TNCC Certification (may be required)
- TCAR Certification (may be required)
- Ability to work nights and 36 hours per week
