Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (CCU) -36hrs/week,nights-7pm-7:30amx3/week

Registered Nurse in CCU, 36 hours/week, nights (7pm–7:30am). Manages individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through the nursing process, including medication administration and reconciliation, planning and documenting care, and coordinating discharge planning. Performs admission assessments within 8 hours, documents patient/family teaching needs, conducts ongoing assessments, and documents care per department and hospital policies. Ensures patient/family-centered care, communicates care plans each shift, and facilitates discharge by 12:00pm. Maintains a culture of safety, adheres to hand hygiene and universal precautions, complies with regulatory requirements, and maintains privacy and security of patient information. Utilizes technology (Lotus Notes, department software) and engages in professional development. Adheres to legal and ethical standards and supports patient and family collaboration in care. Considers age and cultural needs of patients and families and utilizes interpreter services as needed. Minimum education is a nursing graduate from an accredited school; RN license required; BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC/TCAR may be required depending on department.
