Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (CCU) - 36hrs/week, nights-7pm-7:30amx3/week

Manages individualized, outcome oriented nursing care through the nursing process in the CCU. Responsibilities include medication administration, planning and documenting care, ensuring patient safety and compliance with policies, facilitating discharge planning, and coordinating with the care team to meet patient/family needs. The role requires strong clinical judgment, ability to document per department standards, utilization of Lotus Notes for resources, and adherence to professional development and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of and experience with CHF, pneumonia vaccines, nurse-sensitive indicators, and ethical decision-making are reflected in daily practice, with emphasis on patient/family-centered care and collaboration across disciplines.
