Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (CCU) working 36 hours per week on nights (7pm-7:30am, 3 shifts/week). Manages individualized, outcome oriented nursing care through the nursing process and coordinates care across assessment, planning, and documentation per SSH policies. Responsibilities include medication administration and reconciliation, planning and documenting care, patient/family-centered care, discharge planning, and ensuring safety and quality through adherence to infection control, regulatory requirements, and privacy standards. Requires completion of nursing education at an accredited school and active RN license; advanced certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC, TCAR) may be required depending on department. Proficiency with technology (Lotus Notes, department software) and commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with hospital policies and procedures are emphasized.
