Job Summary
Manage individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through assessment, planning, and implementation of care processes. Administer medications per policy, perform medication reconciliation, and document narcotic discrepancies. Develop and update prioritized plans of care, initiate admission assessments within eight hours, and reassess patient comfort using appropriate pain scales. Verify patient identification with two identifiers prior to invasive procedures, comply with CDC hand hygiene guidelines, and ensure the environment meets regulatory requirements. Foster a culture of safety, respond to hospital codes, and utilize Lotus Notes for resource access. Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan care and facilitate discharge by noon.

- RN - Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Emergency Response Training Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Previous Acute Care RN experience
