Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (CCU) handles individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care using the nursing process. Provides care, treatment, and services through coordination and completion of assessment, planning, delivering nursing care, and adherence to policies. Key duties include medication administration and reconciliation, developing and documenting plan of care, patient-family centered care, ensuring safety and quality, professional development, utilization of technology (Lotus Notes, department software), compliance with policies, and age/cultural considerations. Requires strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
