Job Summary
Nurse focused on delivering individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care in a CCU setting, managing medication administration and reconciliation, developing and updating patient-care plans, documenting care per policy, ensuring patient/family-centered communication, and promoting a culture of safety. Responsibilities include initiating admissions assessment, assessing and reassessing patient needs, communicating plan of day, facilitating discharge planning, and maintaining compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory standards. Requires RN license with applicable certifications (e.g., BLS; ACLS; NRP; PALS; TNCC; TCAR) and formal nursing education; role emphasizes professional development, utilization of technology (e.g., Lotus Notes), and collaboration across disciplines to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Emergency Response Training Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
