Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care (CCU) responsible for individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care using the nursing process; duties include medication administration, reconciliation, and narcotic discrepancy resolution; plan of care development, documentation, patient/family-centered care, and ongoing reassessment; supports discharge planning, safe patient handoff, and escalation through chain of command; maintains safety, quality and regulatory compliance; utilizes technology (Lotus Notes, department software); adhere to privacy and security standards; may require BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC/TCAR depending on department; minimum education is graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; location is Braintree, MA; shifts include nights with 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification may be required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification may be required
- Emergency Response Training Certification may be required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification may be required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) may be required
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
