Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (CCU) - 36hrs/week, nights -7pm-7:30amx3/week

Job Summary
Administer medications following SSH policies, complete reconciliation processes, and document narcotic withdrawals and discrepancies. Develop individualized plans of care, initiate admission assessments within eight hours, and reassess patient comfort using appropriate pain scales. Verify patient identification prior to invasive procedures, comply with CDC hand hygiene guidelines, and ensure the environment meets regulatory requirements. Facilitate discharge or transfer by noon, communicate barriers via the chain of command, and actively represent patient and family needs. Utilize Lotus Notes and departmental software while maintaining awareness of downtime protocols. Adhere to legal boundaries of the MA Nurse Practice Act, safeguard patient privacy, and bring compliance issues to management. Work 36 hours weekly on nights from 7pm to 7:30am three times per week. Requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC/TCAR certifications, and previous acute care experience.

- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Previous Acute Care RN experience
