Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (CCU) - 36hrs/week, nights -7pm-7:30amx3/week

Manage individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through assessment, planning, and documentation in accordance with South Shore Hospital policies. Administer medications, perform medication reconciliation, and verify narcotic counts while documenting patient care against disease processes and nurse-sensitive indicators. Develop and update prioritized plans of care, initiate admission assessments within eight hours, and facilitate discharge transfers by noon. Maintain a culture of safety by verifying patient identification, adhering to CDC hand hygiene guidelines, and responding to hospital codes. Collaborate with the clinical team to address ethical concerns, represent patient and family needs, and utilize interpreter services for diverse populations.
