Job Summary
Assess, plan, and provide individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care for patients in the Critical Care Unit, including medication administration, documentation, and patient family-centered care. Develop and update prioritized plans of care, initiate admission assessments within eight hours, and document outcomes while addressing ethical questions and communicating daily goals. Verify patient identification prior to invasive procedures, comply with safety protocols and emergency preparedness, and utilize technological solutions to review resources and manage workflows. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to foster a culture of safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Emergency Response Training Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Previous Acute Care RN experience
