Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (CCU) - 36hrs/week, nights -7pm-7:30amx3/week

Manage individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment services in accordance with South Shore Hospital policies. Administer medications, complete reconciliation processes, and document narcotic withdrawals and discrepancies per SSH procedures. Develop, evaluate, and update individualized plans of care while initiating admission assessments within eight hours and facilitating discharge by noon. Verify patient identification prior to invasive procedures, comply with CDC hand hygiene guidelines, and respond to hospital codes. Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to address ethical concerns, pain management, and cultural needs. Maintain professional development by obtaining five contact hours annually and utilizing departmental software applications.
