Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (CCU) - 36hrs/week, nights -7pm-7:30amx3/week

Manage individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through assessment, planning, and documentation in accordance with South Shore Hospital policies. Administer medications, complete reconciliation processes, and verify narcotic counts while documenting patient care for disease processes and nurse-sensitive indicators. Develop and update prioritized plans of care, initiate admission assessments within eight hours, and communicate daily goals via whiteboard. Foster a culture of safety by verifying patient identification, adhering to CDC hand hygiene guidelines, and responding to hospital codes. Collaborate with patients and families to plan and evaluate care, raise ethical concerns, and facilitate discharges by noon. Maintain professional development through evidence-based practice and performance improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and privacy standards.
