Job Summary
The ICU (Critical Care) RN in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at St. Mary's Hospital delivers high-level nursing care to critically ill patients. Responsibilities include assessing patient status, determining priorities, implementing evidence-based nursing interventions, developing and evaluating care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment. Requires active RN licensure, with 1 year of RN experience and strong clinical judgment; BLS required, ACLS preferred (must be obtained prior to direct patient care; ACLS within 6 months). PALS preferred for pediatric units. BSN preferred. Evening/Night shift and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for minimum 1 year of RN experience. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current state licensure as an RN
- BLS required or ACLS preferred (ACLS required within 6 months)
- PALS preferred or required in lieu of BLS/ACLS for Pediatric Units
- 1 year RN experience required
- Med/Surg/Critical Care/Stepdown/ED experience preferred
- Education: BSN preferred (not required)
