Job Summary
Coordinate a patient-focused team to provide direct and collaborative health care in clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span. Utilize the nursing process to deliver care reflecting an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities while facilitating the patient/provider relationship. Provide comprehensive, coordinated, and seamless care to individuals and aggregate groups through case management expertise. Operate all necessary equipment and EMR systems while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information. Requires a current New York State RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and one year of med/surg and specialty experience. A BSN is preferred, along with ANA or appropriate specialty certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current New York State RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- One year med/surg experience
- One year of specialty experience
- ANA certification
- certification from appropriate agency in specialty
- Ability to operate all equipment and EMR systems found in care center as necessary to perform all prescribed duties
- Ability to handle information with strict confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
