Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator Electrophysiology (EP) for EP Lab performing procedures such as Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, BivICD, BiV pacemakers, and Micra, plus Ablations (Atrial fibrillation/Flutter, Cryo-Ablations), SVT, Ventricular tachycardia, Loop Recorder, and Watchman Implantation. The EP RN will assess patients, initiate nursing interventions, document in the medical record, and contribute to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan, with training to monitor pacing protocols with EP physician. Role involves sterile environment collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to support cardiac procedures and patient care from admission through post-procedure care. Requirements include current state RN license; Basic Life Support within 30 days; ACLS and PALS within six months; and 1-3 years of EP/critical care experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- 1-3 years preferred with recent critical care or EP / CL experience
