Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in telemetry using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, culturally diverse care while partnering with patients and families on goals and bedside teaching. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, documentation, and case reviews to ensure safe, quality patient outcomes. Mentor staff and students, participate in shared governance, and lead performance improvement initiatives. Uphold Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards, TJC safety goals, and Wellstar policies. Complete mandatory education and competency assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
