Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice to ensure individualized, safe patient care. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and bedside teaching while documenting care and promoting a respectful clinical environment. Partner with patients and families to set goals and adapt service delivery to population characteristics. Complete mandatory education, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance. Uphold Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards, TJC safety goals, and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours Required
- direct patient care experience Preferred
