Job Summary
Assess, design, present, and evaluate educational programs for clinical and non-clinical staff based on identified needs and competencies. Actively participate in professional groups and function as a performance consultant to coordinate training facilities and resources. Collaborate with nursing and organizational management to implement goals that improve patient care outcomes and management systems. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, three years of nursing experience, and current RN licensure with BLS certification. Must possess strong presentation skills, proficiency with Windows applications, and the ability to manage priorities in stressful situations. Flexible work schedule including weekends, holidays, and on-call availability. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Master's degree in Nursing
- 3 years Nursing experience
- Current RN License in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of job related information
- Proficiency with Windows-style applications and keyboard
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work across organizational lines to meet objectives
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to routinely manage priorities and projects involving multiple constituencies
- Experience working with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities
