Job Summary
Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) in the Circulatory Operating Room providing evidence-based, patient-centered perioperative care within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include applying the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation), coordinating care, ensuring culturally competent care, and supporting quality outcomes. Roles include mentoring/precepting other staff and participating in performance improvement and shared governance. Must hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS; typically working a day shift with call obligations. Requires Nursing licensure and a minimum of five years of direct patient care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or Nursing Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- RN license (Georgia or multi-state compact)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience
