Registered Nurse (RN) Circulatory Operating Room-FT-Days

RN Circulatory Operating Room – Day shift for wellstar facility: Mon-Fri from 6:45am–7:15pm with call. Provides proactive perioperative nursing care within an interdisciplinary team, coordinating patient-centered care, planning and evaluating through the Nursing Process, and ensuring adherence to standards of practice, policies, and evidence-based protocols. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of care; delivering relationship-based patient-centered care; maintaining effective communication and documentation; supporting performance improvement and shared governance; mentoring and precepting other staff, and complying with regulatory requirements and professional standards as outlined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics. Requires BLS, ACLS, PALS, and a nursing degree with at least 5 years of direct patient care experience; license in good standing and adherence to organizational policies. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient safety, interprofessional collaboration, and professional development.
