Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Circulatory Operating Room (FT, Days) with Mon-Fri schedule (6:45am-7:15pm) and on-call. Requires BLS, ACLS, and PALS; licensed RN with at least 5 years of direct patient care experience. Provides patient-centered perioperative care, using the nursing process, within an interdisciplinary team and under governance and standards aligned with WellStar models. Responsibilities include coordinating care, documentation, performance improvement, mentorship/precepting, and adherence to policy, safety goals, and evidence-based practice. Demonstrates relationship-based care, cultural sensitivity, effective communication, and collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Locations: Austell, GA.
Required Qualifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- RN licensure (Single State or Compact)
- Associates Nursing or Diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience
- Nursing degree or nursing diploma (RN)
- Amer Red Cross BLS or equivalent
