Registered Nurse -( RN) Circulating Operating Room-FT-Days

Conduct circulating nursing duties in the operating room, performing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for surgical patients. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication during rounds and case reviews while ensuring timely documentation and maintaining a respectful clinical environment. Partner with patients and families to set care goals, provide bedside teaching, and support service excellence goals within the WellStar Shared Governance Model. Complete mandatory education in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and serve as a preceptor or mentor to other nurses. Participate in performance improvement activities, evidence-based practice initiatives, and protocol development to reduce adverse events and re-admission rates. Requires five years of direct patient care experience and an associate degree or higher in nursing.
