Job Summary
Conduct perioperative nursing care for surgical patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, documentation, and patient teaching while supporting service excellence goals and adhering to Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards. Mentor staff and students, participate in shared governance activities, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives and protocol development. Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Work Mon-Fri from 6:45am-3:15pm with call.
Required Qualifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN)
- Reg Nurse (Single State)
- RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Instructor
- BLS - Provisional
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience
