Job Summary
Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage care for the Medical-Surgical patient population on the 28-bed Surgical Care Unit at St. Joseph Hospital. Partner with an interdisciplinary team including attending physicians, RNs, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety interventions, emotional support, and education. This role requires a New York RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications, offering a competitive hourly range of $55.22 to $63.68.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ Years of RN experience working in Med-Surg or Telemetry
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
