Job Summary
Emergency Department Fellowship Track for Experienced RNs at ChristianaCare in Newark, DE (7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.), providing didactic and hands-on ED training to prepare RNs with 1+ year in Med/Surg or Step Down for independent practice in a Level I trauma ED. The program includes classroom sessions, orientation modules, simulations, rotations through high-acuity ED zones, direct mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration, with outcomes aimed at ED readiness. Qualifications include BSN preferred and at least 1 year in relevant units; certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC will be obtained during orientation or within stated timeframes. Required Qualifications
- BSN preferred (or commitment to obtain within 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg or Stepdown units
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Will obtain during orientation
- PALS – Will obtain during orientation
- TNCC – Will obtain during orientation or within 6 months following orientation
