Job Summary
Inpatient RN role delivering professional nursing care in a pediatric hospital setting with night shift accountability; requires RN license (eNLC acceptable), BLS within 30 days, and 1 year nursing experience. Responsibilities include modifying plans of care, utilizing nursing process and evidence-based practice, delegating, coordinating with interprofessional team, educating patients and families, promoting safe patient care, and participating in quality improvement and professional development; CAPE ladder details apply for progression across levels 1–6 based on experience, degree, and certifications. Shift: nights, 36 hours/week.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state via eNLC
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- One year of registered nursing experience
- Nursing degree (BSN preferred) or equivalent
- Ability to deliver professional nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting
- Knowledge of nursing process, patient assessment, care planning, and evidence-based practice
