Job Summary
Assess patients' physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status, then formulate a goal-directed plan of care based on nursing diagnoses and outcomes. Implement care consistently while establishing priorities based on essential patient needs and available resources. Evaluate care effectiveness and patient progression, identify learning needs for patients or significant others, and coordinate interdisciplinary functions. Fulfill all compliance responsibilities and perform other duties as assigned within the Chemotherapy Center. Requires CT Registered Nurse License, BLS certification, and Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification with at least six months of Oncology RN experience. Schedule is variable 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Required Qualifications

- 6 months of Oncology RN experience

- Associate's Level Degree
- Significant manual skills / motor coord & finger dexterity
- Significant occupational risk
- Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
- Significant exposure to dirt, odor, noise, human waste, etc.
