Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse - Medical Surgical

Supervise nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, determining staffing levels and assignments based on availability, census, acuity, and workflow. Provide direct patient care as needed, float between staff to assist with problem-solving, and evaluate care effectiveness to identify issues affecting outcomes. Perform role-specific duties including entering orders, performing admissions/discharges, and coordinating transfers. This 25-bed Med-Surg unit offers a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio with opportunities for growth into charge nurse, preceptor, and clinical ladder programs. Full-time night shifts (7p–7a) with rotating weekends.
