Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse - Medical Surgical

Supervise nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, quality care while determining staffing levels and assignments based on census, acuity, and workflow. Provide direct patient care as needed, float between staff to assist with problem-solving, and evaluate effectiveness of patient care to identify issues affecting outcomes. Perform role-specific duties including entering orders, performing admissions/discharges, and coordinating transfers. Work full-time nights (7p–7a) with rotating weekends in a 25-bed Med-Surg unit featuring a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
