Job Summary
Direct and oversee daily unit activities on the 7pm-7am shift, including making patient assignments, rounding with physicians, and managing bed flow. Coordinate staffing during surges, monitor equipment inventory, and lead interdisciplinary rounds to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Provide oversight for the nursing process, conduct daily patient evaluations, and serve as a preceptor for new staff. Maintain compliance with Georgia practice standards and WellStar protocols while driving performance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
