Job Summary
Perform all nursing duties in accordance with the state Nursing Act, facility policies, and universal precaution practices. Assess client conditions, initiate and update plans of care, and monitor patient progress to ensure comfort and safety. Provide routine nursing care, assist physicians with patient status reports, and supervise caregivers at least every 60 days. Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families while adhering to ethical standards and OSHA training requirements. Willing to travel to perform duties at client residences. Requires an A.D.N. or B.S.N. with current licensure and one year of clinical practice per specialty.
Required Qualifications
- A.D.N. or B.S.N. from accredited College of Nursing
- current nursing license in each state of desired practice
- One year of full-time clinical practice in each specialty area
- Current TB test
- compassionate, professional, and ethical behavior
- good communication skills
- ability to read, write and speak English
- available reliable transportation to and from assignments
- fulfill yearly OSHA training requirements
- good personal hygiene
- organizational habits
- Willing to travel to preform duties at client residences
