Job Summary
Assess patient needs and monitor vital signs for contracted correctional patients across psychiatry, cardiology, OB/Gyn, surgery, and trauma. Develop and modify care plans, administer medications, and prepare patients for examinations while maintaining accurate documentation. Direct less skilled personnel and provide health education to individuals and families. Requires Associate's Degree, less than one year experience, BLS, and RN license. Part-time night shift, 0.6 FTE. Salary $36.00 - $57.77/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - DORA - Department of Regulatory Agencies
- Associate's Degree
- BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to use medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Adherence to Standards of Professional Nursing Practice/ Process / Performance [ANA Standards addendum- signed] and accrediting body standards
- Demonstrates knowledge and applicability of the principles of growth and development over the life span
- Ability to assess data reflecting the patient's status and interpreting appropriate cultural information of the patient(s)
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to interpret adapt and apply guidelines and procedures

Desired Qualifications
