Job Summary
Assess patient status, determine problem priorities, and implement clinical nursing interventions for acute, critical patients requiring intensive medical care. Develop and perform patient care plans to enhance outcomes, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to analyze assessments, create care plans, and evaluate treatment effectiveness. Synthesize information to take immediate, evidence-based action using clinical judgment, anticipating and adapting to rapidly changing conditions. Administer medications safely per state practice and organizational policies. Participate in the on-call system for emergency and urgent procedures on weekends, nights, and holidays, responding to STEMI callbacks in under 30 minutes. Requires one year of RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER, or OR.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- One year of RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER, or OR
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 6 months of hire)
- Must be able to respond to STEMI call backs in less than 30 minutes
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred, not required)
