Job Summary
Manage overall care for patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, including sedation, sterile field preservation, ACLS management, and documentation. Partner with an interdisciplinary team of attending physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes. Advocate for patients and their loved ones through safety interventions, emotional support, and education. Requires a BSN degree, New York RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification, with one year of procedural or critical care experience preferred. This role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus split over 12 months at Good Samaritan University Hospital Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center serving over 100,000 annual patients on Long Island's south shore.
Required Qualifications
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Desired Qualifications
- Passion for cardiology
- 1+ years of experience in a Procedural or Critical Care Unit (CCU, ICU, CTICU, CVICU, etc.)
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
