Job Summary
Assess, implement, and evaluate resident care plans under supervision while managing the environment to ensure safety. Supervise nursing assistants and helpers, adhere to state Nurse Practice Act and JCAHO standards, and calculate drug dosages. Maintain CPR certification and use equipment such as feeding pumps, oxygen, and medication carts. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff while demonstrating basic computer skills. Work flexible shifts including PM and NOC with differentials, with full-time, part-time, and casual options available.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Ability to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
