Job Summary
Assess, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for a group of residents under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON. Manage the environment to maintain resident safety and supervise nursing assistants and helpers while adhering to North Shore's policies, the State Nurse Practice Act, and JCAHO standards. Calculate drug dosages, utilize necessary equipment such as feeding pumps and medication carts, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Maintain an active license and CPR certification, with a preference for skilled nursing experience though new graduates are welcome with provided training.

- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge
- Ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
