Job Summary
Conduct in-home nursing visits for former Nuclear Weapons Workers with chronic or terminal illnesses, performing physical assessments including vitals and ensuring home safety with medical equipment. Fill weekly medication planners and oversee skilled and non-skilled caregivers providing care in the client's home. Plan, implement, and evaluate care while participating in client care conferences and serving as a local on-site clinical resource. Collaborate with regional directors and staffing coordinators to identify issues, correct service gaps, and manage personnel scheduling within scope of practice. Review clinical documentation for accuracy, evaluate performance improvement initiatives, and perform supervisory visits to facilitate problem resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state approved school of professional registered nursing
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state(s) of practice
- Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience including one (1) year in home care or closely related field
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- One (1) year of supervisory and/or case management experience preferred
