Job Summary
Conduct weekly in-home nursing visits for clients with chronic or terminal illnesses resulting from nuclear weapons exposure, performing physical assessments, ensuring home safety, and managing medication plans. Coordinate care conferences, evaluate clinical documentation, and supervise caregivers while collaborating with regional directors to address service issues. Assist with staffing decisions, personnel interviews, and performance improvement initiatives, including quarterly medical record reviews and infection tracking. Maintain equipment logs and document supervisory visits to facilitate problem resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state approved school of professional registered nursing
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state(s) of practice
- Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience including one (1) year in home care or closely related field
- One (1) year of supervisory and/or case management experience
- Current CPR certification
