Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager in a PRN role will provide evidence-based patient care coordination and support safe, high-quality patient care at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This position requires developing and implementing transition care plans, coordinating interdisciplinary discharge planning, and maintaining effective communication with medical and nursing staff. Applicants must have 3 years of RN experience with a BSN or current Children’s nurses qualified with 5 years of RN experience with an Associate's degree, alongside a commitment to obtaining a BSN. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and critical thinking abilities, and are required to hold a valid nursing license in Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years RN experience with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Children's nurse with 5 years RN experience with an Associate's degree in Nursing
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
- Registered Nurse Case Management Certification from approved accrediting organization within 1 year of meeting eligibility requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment
