Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) position in a long-term care setting. Directs the daily activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses and CNAs, follows the nursing model to promote holistic resident care, ensures policy compliance, and participates in admissions, discharges, and transfers. Assess changes in residents’ status, notify physicians and families, document appropriately, and transcribe physician orders to the medical record. Requires a nursing degree and an unrestricted RN license in the practicing state, plus CPR certification. Strong clinical skills and excellent communication are essential. Full-time shift from 11 AM to 7 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state
- A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Current CPR certification
- Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required
